Wednesday, September 18, 2024 - Hinge today announces the global launch of Your Turn Limits, a first-of-its-kind feature addressing one of the biggest challenges of securing a date: unanswered messages from matches. Following a successful test, the feature requires daters with too many people waiting on their response to take action, such as replying or ending the conversation, before continuing to connect with new people. Ultimately, the app update helps to get Hinge users out on dates by supporting the daters who need help focusing and those waiting for the conversation to continue.

In its testing phase, Hinge found that the feature successfully met the goal of increasing responses on the app and helping daters shift their mindset from quantity to quality of matches.
